Really enjoyed the place, had a really comfortable stay for one night. The rooms were lovely looking and neat and had extremely comfy beds. The breakfast was great with fresh fruits and omelette etc made to order, as example and pretty friendly and outstandingly accommodating staff.

splendid star grand hotel and spa truly exceeded my expectations during my recent golf trip in hanoi. the staff, especially martin and tom, went above and beyond to ensure i had a pleasant stay. from accommodating my early arrival to organizing transport and providing excellent service, they made my experience wonderful.

Bathroom/shower could have been bigger.

This hotel was always our first choice to stay when we travel to Hanoi. There are many reasons made us choose it but the main reason was location. It is very well located, very close to the Hoan Kiem lake, also the downtown. So it was very convenient to go around seeing and exploring this beautiful city. One more thing made us feeling at home was the staff. They were very kindly and helpful in giving information and advice about things to do and places to go. We loved very much our stay in this hotel. We would definitely recommend this hotel to others and be back as soon as possible.

We stayed in a spacious and quiet room. It was always updated everyday. The hotel also was nice and comfortable. All hotel staff were very helpful and friendly. Great location. Good breakfast. We enjoyed every moments. We would definitely recommend this hotel to all travelers to Hanoi. It was really our home away from home. We will be visiting it again next time.

The level of service provided is unmatched, including the incredible honesty and kindness shown by the staff. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, and the hotel is centrally located.

hotel introduced very bad contracted taxi driver. hotel closed the entrance door around 12pm. minibar prices not presented in the room.

We chose this hotel after reading high score for the reviews but it was just a basic hotel only. We could not find anything like on Internet ( they stole the pictures from other hotels).Do not listen to the hotel staff and do not believe in the website photos. Big lie! What happened to this hotel? I could expect much more better service and the room quality. There was absolutely no privacy, the windows are facing other rooms. This wasn't a 3 star hotel. Do not stay there!

It is Ok if the price is under 20usd/ night

We loved staying at this hotel located near many attractions in the Old Quarter area. This place is in a narrow path near the cathedral, making the location both quiet and close to everything we wanted to see. Service was excellent, from the friendly welcoming drink to accommodation for our needs, including bicycle hire and dry cleaning, airport shuttle, and tours assistance.
